Synopsis

A magical adventure by the light of the moon.

Kitty, Pumpkin, and Pixie discover a secret sky garden on the city rooftops.

It’s a wondrous place, filled with exotic plants and beautiful decorations. Soon Kitty has to step in to rescue the garden and its beauty from those who seem intent on destroying it.

My thoughts

I adore this cute series – it’s perfect for young readers and both illustrations and story are engaging and loveable. Kitty has special cat-like super powers and spends much of her time on adventures with her feline friends. This time she is in search of inspiration to enter a competition to design a new school garden. Pixie, a fluffy white cat woth green eyes tells her of a beautiful rooftop garden that might be just what she needs to get her creative juices flowing. What Kitty discovers is the most beautiful graden she has ever seen. Soon word gets out about the garden and it’s enticing catnip bush and before long things get out of hand and the very survival of the beautiful garden comes under threat. So Kitty sets out to restore order, save the garden and even make some new friends along the way but will she be able to find inspiration for her garden design too? Published by Oxford University Press in paperback and audiobook, Kitty and the Sky Garden Adventure is the perfect book to share with your young book lovers, especially those who love cats and gardens!

This is a beautifully presented chapter book, filled to the brim with delightful illustrations and will be perfect for readers age 5+ and 7+.

Thank you so much to the lovely team at Oxford University Press for inviting me to review this title. Another delightful addition to this lovely series.
